The Board

YESAB is an independent arms-length entity, responsible for implementation of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act (YESAA) legislation and regulations. Specifically, its role is to administer the YESAA assessment regime.

There are seven members of the Board appointed under the auspices of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act (YESAA).

Of the seven Board Members, two members and the Chair of the Board form the Executive Committee, which has a number of special responsibilities under the Act.
