YESAB and its staff support and participate in community events and activities, as do many other Yukon organizations and businesses.

In October 2005, Board Chair Dale Eftoda and Project Assessment Manager Michael Muller gave presentations at a YESAA Networking Session in Whitehorse. More than 100 representatives of First Nation, Yukon Government and Government of Canada Decision Bodies attended the meeting, which was focused on developing and refining the way YESAB will interact with decision-makers.

In September 2005, Board Chair Dale Eftoda gave a presentation on YESAA at the Opportunities North conference in Whitehorse. Two senior staff members, Executive Director Wendy Randall and Project Assessment Manager Michael Muller, also attended the conference.

In May 2005, nine representatives of YESAB attended the Dawson City International Trade Show. We provided a variety of printed and electronic format information on our organization at our trade show booth and did a free draw for four YESAB thermoses. The lucky winners were Louise Blanchard, Lambert Curzon and Hannah McDougall of Dawson City, and Laura McIntyre of Whitehorse.

In February 2005, the Yesaa'ssins team competed in the annual Sourdough
Rendezvous Corporate Challenge and took home the Best Costume award!

In December 2004 and 2005, as part of our Christmas celebrations, Board Members and staff decided to collect funds for the Share the Spirit campaign in Whitehorse.  Board and staff also collected non-perishable food items for a local charity.
